2013 Minnesota Business Ethics Award Honors Four Companies Today

Two hundred and twenty Minnesota business and professional leaders gathered Wednesday, May 15, to honor four companies with the 2013 Minnesota Business Ethics Award (MBEA). Please join us in congratulating:

  • Small: Cresa Minneapolis/St. Paul
  • Medium: Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union
  • Large (two firms honored this year): Cummins Power Generation and St. Francis Regional Medical Center

Global Challenges in Business & Corporate Responsibility

In case you couldn’t join us, the Center’s April 30 program on “Global Challenges in Business & Corporate Responsibility” is now available for download on Facebook or YouTube.

The event features Klaus Leisinger, Chairman of the Novartis Foundation for Sustainable Development, sharing his thoughts on the challenges of expanding a business in a competitive global economy while addressing pervasive and complex social and ethical issues. Business panel responders included Mike Balay, Vice President of Strategy at Cargill, and Brad Buck, Senior Director Corporate Engagement at Land O’Lakes.

The program marked the Center for Ethical Business Cultures (CEBC) 35th Anniversary and the 20th Annual Stakeholder Dialogue.
