CEBC IN THE NEWS
In Ten Years Where will business be a decade from now? Here's what Minnesota's industry leaders think. Published September 2003 in the Twin Cities Business Monthly.
Compiled By Suzy Frisch Note from CEBC, we have only included comments from Ron James, CEBC's President and CEO, on our website. Please refer to the magazine for additional interviews.
Ron James, CEO What are you helping organizations think about now, and how do those trends affect the picture in 2013? Three key components that people look carefully at are: what signals they're sending out as leaders of an organization, because people in the organization pick up those cues every day; second, how the business is serving its stakeholders but its customers and its employees, suppliers, and the broader community; third, the processes inside of an organization - your compensation systems, your recognition and reward programs - are they sending the signals that you stand for integrity or do they reward performance at all costs? I'd say we're at a crossroads right now. It's important that we take the time to examine where we are, but more importantly, recommit ourselves to building cultures of integrity.
